Arrow N/W Build

OK.. I've found some use, but it's based around a core of about 3 skills for an N/W.

Healing Signet (Tactics)
Used for self healing to offset sacrifices without having to drain or sacrifice for health. I also use this when there are no corpses I can use for HP.

Charge {Elite} (Tactics)
I use this to enable my minions/horrors to run faster. This also makes sure they get to the battle and distract the enemy first, enabling other warriors or melee fighters to rush in and suffer less damage (over time).

Balanced Stance (Tactics)
Helps reduce recovery time in areas where enemies knock me down quite a bit.

"Watch Yourself" (Tactics)
Another Minion skill. I use it to increase defense of minions. Although it doesn't serve that great a purpose, it does increase their resistance to damage long enough for my party to cast longer spells (IE: Meteor Shower) while the AI has to contend with my defense wall of bone creatures.

I'm kinda running outta ideas how to cross the N/W as far as skills, so, I"m looking for other opinions.

All of the above have been tested and only the Healing Signet has any REAL value for PvP. THe rest are mostely PvE uses I've found of this peculiar cross.

I actually do like the charge idea, and balanced stance makes sese against giants and stuf, but I don't know if the others are necesarry. I think you have the right Idea though. Great work and grats on the creativity.

Unfortunately, as a Minion Master you're really looking for spells that assist allies.

The only warrior skills that help allies are Charge and Watch Yourself (which you've described) and Shields Up (limited use since your minions will be facing melee opponents primarily).

I haven't tested this, but will IWAY work with minions? That could be a powerful tool since your minions are doomed to die...

Feeling stupid, but what is IWAY. I hear that term used so often and I just never got a translation.

Either way...
There's more than just minions you can use the W skill set. I just pref the MM build b/c I've perfected my style of it.

I'm also looking for any good crossovers between N and W... going for a W/N there are skills like Defiled Flesh that help with melee combat, but N's are too weak to stand a Melee too long, so the N/W Build gets a little more complicated.

Still....
I'm always looking for room to improve.

Why? Why would you want to do a n/w?

And also for a MM i find that a n/e with glyph of renewal works awesome!

(1)The reason for this is so that you can glyph Veratas sacrifice to give your minions an extra 10 regen all the time.

(2)Also using aura of restoration would be pretty good when using Animate bone fiends (25 energy X 150%= you are healed for 38 health per fiend animated)

(3)One last good n/e thing is the glyph of lesser energy to soften up that 25 energy needed for Animate bone fiend

PS: IWAY is the ever so popular and contraversial "I will avenge you!"

Hope this helps with your MM

Healing Signet

It's like free healing. Plus, since you have minions, you shouldn't be in the thick of it. In addition to this, sacrifices take life. With very little put into it, Healing Signet does quite a bit of HP recovery without costing any energy.

Besides that, did you read teh builds I posted at the top? You can use CHarge to get minions/horrors to rush ahead of the party which creates a meat (err... bone) sheild against the inital onslaught. Don't forget that balanced stance can help an MM stay on his/her feet while dealing with Beastmasters in Shiver Peaks. Getting knocked down is where I find Necros get punished the most.

Besides.. htere are many benefits to any build if you consider terraine, enemy types, and enemy population.
